Perennial Edible Plants

Perennial edible plants survive year on year and require little to no work. In comparison, most typically grown edible plants are annual (meaning they die after only one season) and require a lot of time and skill.

We can grow so many wonderful perennial fruit, veg, nuts and herbs in the UK: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, apples, pears, cherries, plums, currants, asparagus, kale, hazelnuts…

What customers are saying

I’m a very inexperienced gardener but growing these perennial edibles is a doddle

Jean Hamilton, Edinburgh

I used to grow only annual vegetables. I didn’t realise that food growing could be easy

John Aitkin, Galashiels

My lawn has been reduced and I don’t miss it. I wish I had started growing my own fruit and veg years ago

Doug Bruce, Earlston

I love my strawberries, blueberries and blackcurrants. I don’t buy supermarket fruit in summer

Catriona Stewart, Hawick

Who knew!? Undying kale!! And asparagus. My favourite of all vegetables!

Lindsay Fraser, Duns

Healthy plants and friendly delivery

Sarah Marsh, Dalkeith
