There are many ways to enjoy hazelnuts: in sweet or savoury dishes, raw, as a milk, etc. Here is a Hazelnut Spread Recipe that you can’t fail to love!
Hazelnuts are easy to grow and incredibly healthy. They contain protein, carbohydrates, fiber, antioxidants, vitamin E, thiamin, magnesium, copper, manganese, vitamin B6, folate, phosphorus, potassium and zinc. They are also high in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids and phenolic compounds which help decrease blood cholesterol and inflammation.
INGREDIENTS (FOR ONE JAR)
- 150 g hazelnuts
- 6 tbsp oat milk
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 80 g agave syrup
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
METHOD
- Toast the hazelnuts and then blend in a food processor into a powder.
- Add all the other ingredients and blend again.
- Pour into a jar and enjoy (store in the fridge).
